Detoxification or detox is one of the first steps to overcoming addiction. The detoxification process refers to the initial process of getting off of drugs and alcohol, which can be uncomfortable and even dangerous in some instances, potentially leading to consequences such as seizures. That is why many people choose to enter a detoxification program when they first stop using drugs and alcohol. Our detoxification programs allow clients to stop using drugs and alcohol safely with a three-step process: evaluation, stabilization, and transition. 

When you first enter our detox program, we will provide an evaluation to assess your needs. This evaluation may include a mental health screening, questions about your history of drug or alcohol use, blood tests, and risk assessment. 

The next step is stabilization, which is the main purpose of attending a detox program. This is where you medically stabilize. SEE Purpose offers various forms of support to help you stabilize mentally and physically, including medication (in relevant cases), nutrition, and compassionate support from our team. 

Finally, the transition process helps clients move into the next step of their recovery. For some, this will mean entering an inpatient program like the one we have at SEE purpose. For others, this will mean getting care on an outpatient basis.

Inpatient treatment requires that you eat, sleep, and live at your treatment center while you are in your treatment program. One of the appeals of inpatient treatment is that it removes clients from their daily lives and previous surroundings temporarily, providing 24/7 support and supervision. 

At our inpatient facilities, you will have access to relaxing surroundings and high-quality amenities, including a beautiful lake, swimming pool, open fields, tennis court, and gym. 

SEE Purpose presents two important, restorative, and evidenced-based paths to treat addiction at our inpatient level of care. The first path is based on traditional therapeutic modalities, and the second is our emotional intelligence and mindfulness program. 

With our multi-conceptual approach, clients get to form and choose their own path to healing. We place a strong focus on mental and emotional wellness, with our trained medical staff using practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapies like EMDR, group therapy, and 12-step programs.

Veterans have an increased risk of addiction and other mental health concerns. In addition to our standard inpatient treatment program, we provide a special program for Veterans attending addiction treatment. The Veterans addiction treatment program at SEE purpose offers all of the same treatment options and benefits of our standard inpatient program but with an added focus on concerns that often affect veterans, such as trauma from war, PTSD, and depression. 

As you reach the end of your inpatient treatment stay at a Humana drug rehab center in Indiana, it is crucial to have a plan. That is why SEE purpose provides aftercare planning for clients. It is critical to set yourself up for success and continued access to support when you leave treatment. Aftercare following inpatient treatment may look a little bit different from person to person but often includes outpatient or intensive outpatient programs, therapy, psychiatry, support groups, or a combination of these opportunities for continued care.
